QUESTION & ANSWER

Q: What is your proudest moment at Wildwood?

A: I felt so proud when we attended our first convention as Wildwood, (the 2018 Vancouver show.) We did so awesome and it ran so smoothly, I felt as if we had really built something special!

Q: If given a chance, who would you like to be for a day?

A: I would love to be Adele, so I could sing like an angel for a day, record a whole album, and make a fortune!

Q: Describe what you were like at age 10:

A: At age 10, I was a tomboy who wore only a pink fleece jumpsuit, with a pocket square in the middle of the chest, which I would keep snakes and frogs in and take them into class with me...

Q: How do you define success?

A: I define success as pushing through personal barriers; improving on yourself little by little, a day at a time!

Q: What has been your favorite project since you’ve been at Wildwood?

A: My favourite project recently has been a sweet chest piece I started on my friend a co-worker Jill, of a chimera, although I’ve been loving all the animals I’ve been fortunate enough to do lately!

Q: If you could meet anyone in the world dead or alive who would it be and why?

A: I would love to meet Steve Irwin and talk to him about how incredible animals are! His passion is so inspiring!

Q: What are your three most overused words/phrases?

A:  “OMG I love it!” “It’s perfect!” “That’s so funny!” God, so basic..

Q: What do you always want to try and never have?

A: I’ve always wanted to try hang-gliding! Not skydiving... falling is scary, flying is cool!

Q: What is your favorite thing to do in Kamloops?

A: I really enjoying fishing!

Q: What is your hidden talent?

A: I’m a pretty good writer, if I do say so myself, ask my D&D group ~

Q: If you were on death row, what would your last meal be?

A: Pachoes, extra cheese, with Emerald Isle sauce. Or, salmon nigiri!

Q: Would you rather be a tiny elephant or a giant hamster?

A: I’d rather be a tiny elephant. Because being smaller is far superior to being giant. Because you take no fall damage.

Q: What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

A: “Not my circus, not my monkeys,” a saying, from my mom, advising me to stay out of it!

Q: If you weren't so damn good at my job, what would you do?

A: I’d be a psychologist! Or a therapist!

Q: What was the last experience that made you a stronger person?

A: I had a therapist appointment; definitely a good decision! Feel stronger already!

Q: Ten years ago, who did you think you would be now?

A: I’ve always wanted to a be a professional artist, but I was realistic in that I would probably end up a graphic designer, or an animator for Disney/Pixar.

Q: Who inspires you?

A: Bob Ross inspires me, my coworkers inspire me, and my mom inspires me!

Q: What was the best concert you ever attended?

A: I’ve only been to a couple, but LMFAO was pretty entertaining!

Q: Who is your least favorite superhero?

A: Captain America; he’s not flawed enough to be interesting. Give me Tony Stark any day!

Q: What is your favorite family tradition?

A: I’d say Christmas is pretty important to me, a tradition that stands out is on Christmas Eve, my mom would drive us around to look at the neighbourhood Christmas lights and decorations!

Q: At which store would you be most likely to max-out your credit card?

A: I feel like an art store, or a bookstore, or a home-decor store. But we’re doing a minimalism thing so more realistically I’d max it out travelling!

Q: What, or who, are you a “closet” fan of?

A: True crime! Podcasts, shows, etc!

Q: Share some good news you’ve heard recently:

A: Manatees are no longer endangered!
